Bijoux Double Ended Lollipop Review

We received the Bijoux Double Ended Lovers Lollipop as part of a wedding gift from our friends over at Lovehoney. We have to admit we thought the lollipop wouldn’t taste very nice but we were very surprised on how tasty it was.

Design / Shape / Size

This lollipop is designed for couples to suck each end at the same time and with the short stick between each end it brings the couple in very close quarters of each-other. We really hope the ‘Double Ended’ words in the products name doesn’t give the wrong idea to people and use it for inserting anywhere other than the mouth as it would end up in a horrible sticky mess.

The lovers lollipop has two large very red lollipop ends which are very hard and completely solid. The packaging states the lollipop is strawberry and champagne flavour, being big fans of strawberry flavour products this was a good thing but wasn’t sure how a lollipop would pull off champagne flavour.

Packaging

The packaging of the Lovers Lollipop is actually very nice, it’s comes in a well designed sealed see through bag with details and nutrition information about the product at the back of the bag. As you can imagine this product isn’t particularly healthy but I think everyone will expect this with a lollipop.

Experience

Each of us had a quick taste before going ‘double ended’ and we was very surprised how nice the lollipop actually tasted. It had a nice strong taste of strawberry but as we thought the champagne taste wasn’t present but that wasn’t an issue for us as the lollipops tasted lovely.

Sucking each end of the lollipop together was quite interesting as you have to be very close to each-other to suck the end so you get hear all the noises from your partner sucking the lollipop which didn’t do anything for us but we are sure others will find this quite sexy.

It was important that one of us held the stick in the middle during sucking the lollipops as we found that if we stopped sucking for a moment the lollipop could fall on the floor which wasn’t great as it was a bit of a squeeze already.

As the lollipops are so big and hard it takes a long time to suck them till they vanish and biting them can prove difficult if not impossible when we was both attached so we ended up not finishing the lollipops together which is a shame. We doubt many people who try is product will be able to finish the lollipops in one sitting as it just takes far too long.

Even after sucking the lollipops for a long time the strong strawberry taste lasted and was always tasty. Many standard shop bought lollipops are far from this tasty so hats off to Bijoux for not forgetting about tasty long lasting flavour.

Overall Opinion

The Double Ended Lovers Lollipop is a nice little cheeky treat for couples. We loved the strawberry taste and we feel most people will love the sucking and licking noises their partner makes whilst at the other end. It is a shame one of us needed to hold the stick in the middle to make sure it doesn’t fall and maybe the lollipop ends are a little big and hard as we doubt any couple could finish off each end in one sitting which kind of takes away from the experience.

This aside we would recommend this product to couples who want a cheap cheeky tasty treat who don’t mind getting up close and personal with their couples sucking and licking noises.
