Bijoux Indiscrets Passion Mask Review

We received the Bijoux Indiscrets Passion Mask as part as a wedding gift from Lovehoney, we are fans of Sensory Deprivation (masks etc) when it comes to the bedroom and this offering from the sexy Bijoux Indiscrets brand looked really nice.

Design / Shape / Size

The Passion Mask on paper looks like most other blindfolds on the market but unlike most others we can tell the passion mask is made to last. We have had countless blindfolds straps break it the past but the Passion Mask has held up where other masks have failed and we feel that this mask has many years of service before the straps break.

On the front of the mask there are printed sexy words which you cannot really see on photographs of this product as it’s black text on black background but it’s a nice touch and not in your face. The words include; lust, fun, love, passion, fantasy and bliss.

The strap on the mask is quite thick which makes it strong and also stops it from digging in on the face of the wearer. The strap is also very stretchy and we are sure it would accommodate the smallest to the largest of faces with ease.

There are 3 layers of material to the passion mask which makes it impossible for the wearer to see through which is very important as we dislike on some masks how you see through the mask when in direct light.

The Passion Mask has a average width from the top of the brow to the top of the nose which isn’t particularly a good thing as the wearer can see out of the mask by looking downwards. This may not concern some people as the wearer cannot look straight in front of them where the action is most likely happening but for us as it spoils the experience of being deprived of sight.

Packaging

The packaging of the Blind Passion Mask is definitely the best designed box for any blindfold we have ever seen. The packaging of the passion mask is extremely simple but Bijoux Indiscrets has obviously spent lots of time with the box to make it look luxurious. Once we slide the cover off we are greeted with an envelope styled box which is subtlety branded and with 3 circular cut outs which shows to mask inside.

Rox’s Experience

“I really like wearing this mask as it’s comfortable and soft for me to wear even when Steve straps me down on the bed for hours with just the mask on. When wearing it I cannot see anything through the mask even in light rooms which is good as I like to be in complete darkness. What I don’t like however is the ability to slightly see out of the bottom of the mask which allows me to see what Steve is up to. I know I shouldn’t peek out as it’s against his rules but just knowing I can see out tempts me and I’d much prefer not having that choice.”

Steve’s Experience

“I’m not the one who usually wears this mask but I’m not keen on how Rox can see out of the mask when she is supposed to be in darkness. She does look really good with it on though and it moulds to her face very well thanks to the material. The mask does seem very well made and has lasted longer than other masks we have tried already and has yet to show any signs of any wear and tear.”

Overall Opinion

The Passion Mask has nearly all the signs of a perfect mask but it fails on the wearers ability to see out of the mask at the bottom. It does however perform very well for not letting in any light, it looks really nice and is built to last. We would recommend this product especially if you have a trust-worthy subject who won’t be naughty like me by trying to peek out when they are supposed to be sense deprived.
