Cupids Couch Review

The Cupids Couch opens up many sex position possibilities and allows them to be done with ease and more importantly in comfort albeit with quite a few wobbly moments in-between. We found the Cupids Couch lots of fun and would encourage people wanting to explore different positions to give it a go if they don’t get sea sick.

Design / Shape / Size

The Cupids Couch design looks like a mix between a chaise lounge and a water slide. There are 2 main chambers on the couch the lower and the upper each are inflated separately via a supplied electric pump.. The couch also has arm and leg sections which can be held on to for support or you can also be restrained to them using some spank ties which work extremely well or something similar. We wouldn’t advise using bondage rope due to the friction on the PVC this may cause friction and may tear it.

The Couch is made from cross-woven PVC which allows it to be strong but also soft to the touch which is important as friction when thrusting on such a product will prove very uncomfortable.

The shape of the Couch is designed to allow you get in a multitude of positions. One end (usually the head end) is raised more compared to the other end and has a nice curve across the couch. Lying on it fully is very comfortable and feels natural and doesn’t feel like it would cause back pain if laying on it for a long period of time however we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on it as doubt you’d get a good night sleep.

The Cupids Couch is not overly large (240x95x85cm fully inflated) like many other sex furniture but accommodates taller people quite easily. Deflated the couch gets very small if you make sure there is no air trapped in the couch.

The Couch also comes supplied with a puncture repair kit which have luckily haven’t had the need to use as yet but it’s very handy to have one if ever we get a puncture.

Inflating / Deflating

Inflating the Cupids Couch is very simple thanks to the supplied electric pump. It has 3 attachments that plug into the air holes of the couch. It is very noisy like a lot of electric pumps so maybe inflating it in advance before the neighbours go to bed may be an idea.

To inflate the main 2 sections you can use the supplied pump which inflates within minutes but it’s very important not to over inflate which can cause the Cupid Couch to unexpectedly pop during use which would make it a night to remember but not a good one.

A great feature of the Couch is that once you inflate it and take out the pump it doesn’t let all the air escape before you manage to screw in the top as it’s got a nifty stop valve or something which allows you to take your time and not end up with a half inflated sex couch.

The arm and leg sections of the Cupids Couch can be inflated using the smaller nozzle but after some trial and error we have found manually blowing these up is the best solution as these haven’t got stop valve like the main sections and it only takes a minute to manually blow these up anyway.

Deflating the Cupids Couch is very simple and can be done reasonably quickly. We found that by opening all the air holes and slowly rolling it from the end to push all the air out much like you do to get the last bit out of a toothpaste tube works best. Be sure though if you do this to make sure to expel the air out of the arm and leg sections beforehand as you need to squeeze the nozzles of these to expel the air.

The Positions

The Cupids Couch comes supplied with a leaflet including a variety of different positions possible with the Couch. This is an important and useful addition to show people ideas on how to use the couch. The positions shown show a good selection of oral and full penetrators sex positions and is only really the start of positions possible with the couch as once your imagination gets going the positions you get into could far excel the 12 displayed on the leaflet.

Experience

The first time you get on the couch we found it quite wobbly and it felt like we were on a rubber dingy but we reasonably quickly got used to it but does sometimes feel a bit too wobbly. We found it was useful to either hold on to the arm or leg sections or place your legs on the floor to help stabilize yourself whilst on it.

We also found at whilst in use the couch a naked body rubbing against the PVC can make some noises that are not particularly help the sexual atmosphere so we usually place a large sheet or throw which helps combat this.

We have managed to get into all the positions on the supplied leaflet very easily and comfortably plus even more that we have imagined up a few of which we wouldn’t help been able to get into those positions without some sort of sex furniture.

We definitely would recommend people the Cupids Couch but we must say the wobbliness can sometimes distract from the experience and is a major shame. We feel if the base of the couch was a bit wider it would help due to more surface area and hopefully the makers will design a new and improved Cupids Couch 2 which improves upon the stability in use.
