Fun Factory Bootie Review

We are both not new to butt plugs and have had very mixed experiences with them in the past but we heard some great things about the Fun Factory Bootie and when our friends over at EdenFantasys said they’d send us one to test and review we had quite high expectations of it.

Design / Shape / Size

The Fun Factory Bootie is one of the smallest butt plugs we have ever seen and doesn’t look like your average butt plug either. The Fun Factory Bootie actually looks similar to a prostate massager more than a butt plug to be honest due to it’s angled tip. This angled tip is not just for show however as it is designed to ergonomically fit your body and also stimulate the prostate.

This butt plug is very lightweight thanks to the small size of the product and also being made of silicone. This is very important as we have learnt over the years using heavy plugs can be difficult for us to use over long periods especially if we are out and about as heavier plugs end up giving us funny walk syndrome or the weight causes it to slip out at the worst possible moment.

At the base of the Fun Factory Bootie is unlike many other anal plugs we have used also as it is curved to fit perfectly between the cheeks and has enough width that it wouldn’t head north causing a embarrassing visit to A&E. This curved base is also designed to allow you to walk more comfortably compared to rounded based plugs as it conforms to the body much better.

This butt plug is very flexible in the right places thanks to the silicone material, this flexibility allows it to conform itself to your body with ease making it feel comfortable and right once inserted instead of the feeling of a foreign object that shouldn’t be there causing you discomfort.

Packaging

We have quite a few Fun Factory sex toys in our collection and are very fond of how they’ve packaged their products in the past. This toy is no exception as the box is designed extremely well displaying and protecting the product inside very well. The information about the product on the box is quite limited but a butt plug is quite self explanatory really.

Inside the box there is a Fun factory brochure displaying other products in their range and also instructions for a number of their products including the Bootie. I gather to cut costs they have one instruction manual for these products but it works quite well so we will let them off with that one.

Also included in the box is a 4ml sachet of water based lubricant. This is a Fun Factory branded lubricant named ‘Toy Fluid’. It’s a nice touch for an anal toy to have included lube as it is always needed and allows the purchaser to use the product right away even if they have forgotten to purchase lube if they haven’t got any already.

Care and Cleaning

We love how easy it is to care for and clean silicone sex toys like the Fun Factory Bootie, to clean all we need to do is place it in boiling water for a few minutes as this is not a vibrating toy and it becomes completely sterilised. The only issue with silicone however as it tends to collect lint from the air very easily so just before use you will need to give it a quick wash to make sure it’s clean.

As always with silicone sex toys it is extremely important not to use silicone based lubricant as it will degrade the toy.

Experience

Inserting the Bootie is extremely easy using the supplied lube in the box or using some of the water based lube we already had in thanks to it’s slim gradually tapered tip. Once inserted the toy feels instantly comfortable not like some other plugs we have tried and I have been able to straight away walk around and sit down without even having to get used to the plug being inside.

I have been able to wear the Fun Factory Bootie for very long periods of time only having to remove it for reapplying lube every now and again but due to it’s small size I usually don’t have to reapply any.

This toy feels really nice especially as it stimulates my prostate and it gives me a constant reminder that it is there without being uncomfortable or over-bearing. Also due to the curved base it fits my body perfectly and allows me to go about my daily business without becoming uncomfortable or in the way.

Having sex with the butt plug inserted is a very good experience, unlike other plugs it doesn’t have the tendency to slip out whilst thrusting or being in strange positions. It definitely adds to the pleasure of sex as it feels really good and it does stimulate the prostate but no where near as much as a dedicated prostate massager as it doesn’t give me toe curling orgasms.

At no point has the toy slipped out once inserted which is a first for us using butt plugs. This is a huge plus for us as it means we can have sex without having to keep checking the plug and also we don’t have to keep reinserting it.

Overall Opinion

The Fun Factory Bootie is definitely the best butt plug I have ever used as it feels great, stays where it should and I can wear it for long periods without it being uncomfortable. It’s not the best by far at stimulating the prostate compared to dedicated prostate massagers but at the end of the day it’s a butt plug and not a prostate massager.

We love this toy and it has quickly become a staple in our anal play as it allows me to feel naughty throughout the day. We just cannot wait for the vibrating version!
