Lelo Ina Review

We are big fans of the Lelo brand of toys so when we had the chance to test and review the Lelo Ina provided to us by Lelo.com we couldn’t wait to try it. The thought of a slim shaft that is angled towards the g-spot with very powerful vibrations put this toy on our wish list for a long time. Did it perform to our expections though? Find out below…

Design / Shape / Size

The shape of the Lelo Ina is like a malformed rabbit style vibrator with the insertable shaft tapering very gradually widening to a diameter of 1.4 inches, and curving upwards so that it rests firmly on the G-spot. This part of the toy is quite small with only a 3.75 inch insertable length, and is also completely rigid.

The clitoris arm of the vibrator curves round towards the shaft, which makes the toy look like a crabs claw. Although the clitoral arm can be flexed away from the shaft when inserting we would not recommend pulling it out too much as it could damage the toy.

The usable parts of the toy are made of silicone whilst the handle and control panel are made from plastic. At the very bottom of the Ina is the port for the charger which is protected by a silicone plug. The join between the silicone and plastic is very nicely done and has no gaps to complicate cleaning.

Functions / Controls

The control panel at the bottom of the Ina holds four buttons which light up when pressed, but unfortunately they do not stay lit during use, which could make using it in the dark quite difficult but the buttons do have raised bumps on the buttons so you can differentiate the buttons by touch.

The Lelo Ina is extremely powerful both on the shaft and on the clitoral arm and it is definitely one of our most powerful vibrators. If you’re not interested in extreme power the Ina’s lower settings are quite mild so you have both ends of the vibration scale to play with

The vibrations of the Lelo Ina can be quite loud when not inserted and has a strange rattling noise which adds to the noise but once inserted the noise is a lot quieter.

To charge the toy takes around two hours and the buttons on the control panel will flash to confirm it is charging. When the Ina is charged it will give out a steady glow. On standby it lasts around 90 days and on the lowest setting will last four hours maximum.

Experience

After adding some water based lubricant to the Ina I found that it was very comfortable to insert and also to hold. The tip of the shaft hits my g-spot with ease and the powerful vibrations feels really nice against it and I had the ‘urge to wee’ straight away which is always a good sign.

The clitoral arm however I haven’t really got along with it as the closeness of the arm to the shaft and lack of movability made the toy press onto my clitoris so much that it keeps getting pushed off and digs into me which is very uncomfortable.

I tried the Lelo Ina in many positions to try to see if I could combat this but I couldn’t avoid the toy digging into me and causing a lot of pain in unwanted areas. I think the success of this toy really depends on the users anatomy. There are many reports on the internet that the arm is perfect and feels great but others have experienced the same as me.

Overall Opinion

I was surprisingly disappointed with the Lelo Ina, it had the potential to be one of the best toys in our collection but due to my anatomy I just haven’t managed to use it without being in pain. Unfortunatly this is due to my anatomy and as we’ve heard this toy can be amazing for some and a pain for others.

The shaft of this vibrator does feel amazing so I do have the temptation of snapping off the clitoral arm but I think that would cause an electrical hazard so maybe investing in a Lelo Mona which is the same as this toybut without the clitoral arm maybe the best solution.. for me anyway.
