Metal Worx Curve Review

Metal Worx Curve Review

February 8, 2012 by:

From the moment we saw the Metal Worx Curve it immediately went on our wish list as we have really enjoyed metal products in the past. The wonderful guys at EdenFantasys sent us one to test and review so a big thank you to them. We tested the Metal Worx Curve as an anal toy as Steve very quickly claimed it!

Design / Shape / Size

Showing the larger end of the Metal Worx Curve Many sex toys on the internet look much better in product photographs than they do in real life. However the Metal Worx Curve photographs don’t do the product justice and the toy looks totally stunning. The toy is 10 inches in length and is a multiple use toy as can be used vaginally and anally.

On one end of the toy are a row of 4 beads that gradually increase in size. The size increase between each bead is small compared to average beaded toy increase. The smallest of the beads has a gradual taper which helps with insertion. The tip of the smallest bead isn’t particularly sharp but we would have much preferred it to be more rounded as it can feel slightly uncomfortable.

The smallest bead is curved inwards to stimulate the prostate for men. This doesn’t mean women cannot use this product however. Women will just not get the pleasing effect of the curve as men would.

On the other end of the Metal Worx Curve is large ball for g-spot stimulation. We haven’t used this toy as a g-spot toy as Steve claimed it for his pleasure so we cannot comment on this feature.

The toy is 10 inches in length and weighs 495g (17.4 ounces). The weight is quite evenly spread with the g-spot end being the heavier of the two. As the weight is quite balanced the toy doesn’t feel overly heavy during use and doesn’t cause wrist ache.

We noticed some slight imperfections with the Metal Worx Curve upon receiving the item. These are only minor but it’s a shame to see them. It seems to us the Curve is only coated in Stainless Steel by looking closely at the product. We cannot be 100% sure about this however.

Packaging

The Curve in the box The packaging of the Metal Worx Curve is simply stunning. The toy comes in its own little clasp shut chest which is nestled in soft foam to keep it safe. The box/chest is very solid and would protect the toy inside, even with drops from a height plus the box would probably survive too.

There was no instruction booklet included with the toy which is unfortunate. We would have liked some instructions about ideal cleaning methods and possibly usage tips. Luckily we are not new to cleaning sex toys including metal so this wasn’t a big issue for us.

Care and Cleaning

Top view of the Dildo Cleaning the Metal Worx Curve is very easy. We’ve found using warm water and some good sex toy cleaner does the job very well. It is very important not to use abrasives on the toy as this would damage the finish. We feel if care is taken with the Curve then it could last many years without an issue. Shame we cannot say the shame for all dildos.

Steve’s Experience

Steve's Experience of the Metal Worx Curve“Inserting the Metal Worx Curve is very easy with some water based lube thanks to the small first bead which tapers very well. I can easily insert all 4 beads without issue as the size increase between each is small. Once inserted however the curved tip feels uncomfortable which I think is due to it being too curved for my body. As the Curve is rigid this tip cannot move with my body causing this.

The tip of the toy is a little too pointed for my liking also and would have prefered it to be a little more rounded. It’s not pointed enough to scratch but enough to feel uncomfortable. I feel that some people will have much better experiences than me when using the toy anally as everyone’s body is different.”

Rox’s Experience

Rox's Experience of the Metal Worx Curve“I was a little gutted when Steve claimed the Metal Worx Curve to be his. I know we could actually share the toy as its non-porous being made of metal but we tend to have set toys for each of us. The imperfections on the toy and Steve’s experience of the toy make me feel a bit better about this though.

I think the toy is only Coated in Stainless Steel (I maybe wrong) but if my gut feeling is current then I’m not overly impressed. I do love the look of the toy and the box is stunning but as the saying goes.. You can’t judge a book by its cover.

I agree with Steve that other people could easily get along better with this toy as everyone’s body is different. Unfortunatly for Steve his body wasn’t compatible with the Metal Worx Curve.”

Overall Opinion

We are unsure if we could reccomend this toy to others. This is mainly because it’s a gamble to see if it’s compatible with a person’s body. Our issues with the pointed tip, quality control at manufacture and the stainless steel coating sways us from giving it a thumbs up.
