Nexus Glide Review

The Nexus Glide was one of the first ways we experimented with Prostate Massage and to this day it is still one of our favourite ways to stimulate the so called male g-spot.

Design / Shape / Size

The size of the Glide was a lot smaller than we imagined from first seeing the product online. The tip of the toy is very small and designed to make insertion easy and very importantly painless when using a good water based lube. Only 4.5 inches of the toy is actually insertable which may not seem much to some people but it is more than enough to stimulate the prostate as the location is slightly similar to the female g-spot as you don’t need to go particularly deep to stimulate it.

This toy is completely rigid due to being made of polypropylene which is a type of plastic. The rigidity seems to be very common with most prostate massagers due to the pressure needed to stimulate the p-spot.

At the base of the toy there is a stainless steel ball designed to stroke the perineum whilst the other end is stroking the p-spot. It’s sort of an attack you at all angles approach that many prostate massagers have seem to take too.

The Nexus Glide is designed to stimulate the p-spot completely hands free as it uses your bodies natural movements to do it’s job which did interest us a lot before purchase as it gave us the option of pleasuring each other without the need to each touch the Glide. As it was our early prostate play days not having to thrust or move the massager once inserted was a definite plus point for us as it would allow us to try prostate play out without being too involved.

The toy is very lightweight weighing in at a very low 60 grams and is one of the lightest of our prostate massagers. The lightness doesn’t mean it will break when you drop it however as we have dropped it countless times and have actually stood on it once and it hasn’t been damaged at all even with our reckless handling of it.

Care and Cleaning

Being a type of plastic the Nexus Glide is very easy to clean. We use a good antibacterial sex toy cleaner which does the job very well. Always be sure to remove the steel ball and clean that separately with every clean as germs can hide away around this area if not taken out.

We always use water based lube (we’d reccomend Liquid Silk) when using this toy as we are big fans of water based but silicone lube can provide a better experience with this toy as it is thicker, lasts longer and also means you are ablr to use the toy in the bath or shower.

Experience

Thanks to the very slim tip of the Nexus Glide I have never really experienced any pain when inserting the toy but every now and again when inserting there can be a slight bit of discomfort but that is due to us not using enough lube, being in the wrong position for insertion or my body is not 100% ready for having something inserted.

We haven’t had many problems inserting the prostate massager in most positions but we tend to insert it whilst I’m on my side or on my back with legs raised. Once inserted it doesn’t feel that there is something inside me that really shouldn’t be as it’s very comfortable and is even quite pleasurable even before it really gets going.

The best position to be in with the toy inserted is being on my side as the toy doesn’t have it’s movement restricted like for example if I were lay on my back the bed would be rest on the toy stopping its movement.

The toy can pop out every now and again whilst in use but that is usually our fault for getting into odd positions or pushing out a bit too much forcing the toy out. But when this happens it is very easy it slide it back in and continue our fun.

As the Nexus Glide is designed to work with your natural body movements we found it important to either play with each-other or watch porn whilst it is inserted as you really need to get your breathing deeper than normal and the body movements you have whilst you or excited really makes this massager work. To get the most out of the toy it is important not to stimulate the penis as it will cut short the experience and you will not get the full effect.

Once I really get excited with a foreplay session this is where the Nexus Glide comes into it’s prime, I feel every slight movement of the toy as it teases and tempts my p-spot. On many occasions this has caused what we call the body quivers which is self explanatory really as every inch of my body involuntary quivers in a way no other sex act can cause. These quivers is the calling card of a full blown dry orgasm which usually happens soon afterwards.

Many people don’t believe in a dry orgasm much the same as many didn’t believe in a female g-spot (some still don’t) but we have experienced them first hand. They can be unbelievably strong and are completely different to a standard orgasm and the best thing is we can get multiple dry orgasms with this prostate massager quite easily especially once we have got one out of it in a session.

The only slight downside of this sex toy for us is the stainless steel ball that is designed to stimulate the perineum didn’t work for me personally but that is most likely to do with my lack of sensations I have on the perineum as I’ve never experienced a product that stimulates this area at all that is in any-way pleasurable.

Overall Opinion

Being one our first prostate massagers the Nexus Glide really set a high standard as it showed us how good these toys can really be. It just goes to show you don’t necessarily need a large toy to stimulate the prostate at least for us anyway.

We feel the only improvement this toy could possibly have is to have it vibrate but that has already been thought of as Nexus has a vibrating version similar to this toy which also has a ribbed shaft for extra sensation. We have also tested the Nexus Titus which is very similar to this product but has a ribbed shaft.

It can be difficult to not masturbate whilst having this toy inserted as it makes me very hard and my penis oozes pre-cum dying for a masturbation session but the thought of having a massive dry orgasm if we do it by the book gives us the willpower to hold back and let it do it’s work.
