Nexus Silo Review

We are becoming very big fans of the Nexus male sex toy range so when we had a chance to review the Nexus Silo kindly donated to us to test and review from Pleasure2me we were very excited.

Design
The Nexus Silo TipThe design of the Nexus Silo is nothing like any of the other male sex toy products in our collection, we can definitely tell it’s specially designed to hit the male p-spot from it’s crooked tip much like the Nexus Glide and the Titus. The Silo is quite a girthy male product and the tip doesn’t really taper so insertion for beginners and even intermediate in anal play may struggle with insertion.

After the tip the toy bulges out again to it’s full girth which we admit was quite eye watering just to look at. The Silo has a good sized flared base which we feel would stop any chances of the toy getting ‘lost’.

The Silo is made of luxurious soft silicone which we cannot help but keep touching it as it’s so soft. The product is slightly flexible with the flexibility mainly at the base of the product which would help people sitting on the toy as it will flex slightly when weight is put on it making it more comfortable.

The Silo only comes in black, this is not really an issue for us as black silicone always looks nice and has a definite manly feel to it but when black silicone collects lint from the air (which it does constantly) the toy looks dirty, more-so compared to other coloured products from our experience.

Packaging

The prostate massager boxThe Silo follows the packaging design of the rest of the Nexus male product range. The packaging is very well designed, displays and protects the product really well. The information on the back of the packaging can be slightly confusing due to mentions of the g-spot which would make some people think this product is designed for female use. We have been told however work is being done on the packaging information to help stop confusion of potential purchasers.

Care
Taking care of the Nexus Silo is very easy thanks to it’s silicone material, you just have to remember not to use silicone lube on the toy and do not leave it laying on other silicone products as it will degrade the silicone.

Cleaning the toy is very easy, we tend to put our non-vibrating silicone toys in nearly boiling water which works very well for the Silo and the toy comes out super clean and sterilised for next use. Due to collecting lint however we always need to give it a quick wash before using.

Experience

Holding the toyI have to admit from the start I was quite concerned about the girth of the Silo, I’m not a beginner in p-spot play and do enjoy medium sized products but the Silo seemed huge and the lack of a tapered tip made me think I may struggle with this product.

My fears were realised the first couple of times I used this product as I couldn’t even manage to insert the Silo even with copious amounts of water based lube never mind enjoy the effects of it. However the third time I used the Silo was straight after using another product, which made it much easier to insert and a lot more comfortable.

After getting used to the prostate massager inside me I could feel it pressing on my p-spot more than any other product I’ve used beforehand and it felt amazing. However after the initial pleasure I quickly became uncomfortable to a point it was quite painful and I had to remove it. After that I was quite tender and I have to admit I was walking rather strangely for a few hours.

I think with the Silo I had bitten off more than I could chew, it is unfortunately too big for me even when using it after slimmer toys to get me more relaxed. I can tell however that for people who like girthy p-spot toys this product could me amazing as the brief moments of pleasure I got from it were really really good.

Overall
Full view of the Nexus Silo Prostate MassagerWe cannot say this is a good or a bad toy in general really as due to the girth of the Silo we couldn’t get along with the product as it was extremely difficult to insert and once inserted it quickly became uncomfortable followed by painful.

We would say to beginners and intermediates who like slimmer toys to maybe sidestep the Silo and go for another product in the Nexus range until you have the hunger for larger girth toys. For the people who like girth in their p-spot products then the Nexus Silo may possibly be the product for you as it has the makings of a great p-spot toy.
