Ophoria Beyond 1 G-Spot Vibrator Review

We recently purchased the Ophoria Beyond 1 from a trusted sex toy store Sextoys.co.uk and it has quickly become one of our favourite sex toys of all time…

Design / Shape / Size

The Ophoria Beyond 1 is a slightly curved vibrator with a bulbous head, the head looks quite large in relation to the rest of the toy which is quite daunting at first. There are some minor details on the toy but it is not realistic looking. Under the head there are some ridges for stimulating the clitoris. We purchased the Noir (black) version as the Cerise version was out of stock. The toy does look really good in black though especially when wet and has a definite classy looking feel to it.

The Ophoria Beyond 1 is made of Silicone which is one of our favourite sex toy materials, the toy feels silky smooth because of this. Being silicone however it does seem to a lint magnet but a quick wash before use combats this.

Functions / Controls

Located at the bottom of the toy is the battery compartment which can be quite difficult to open and you get the feeling you may break it when opening. You twist the bottom for it to come off, where you will find room for 2 AAA batteries. The supplied batteries do not last long so we would highly suggest people purchase some high quality AAA’s for this toy.

At the very bottom of the Ophoria Beyond 1 is the on/off switch which is also the vibration function selector. Press once to switch on the toy which defaults to the lowest setting, then keep pressing to increase the speed or change the patterns. The Ophoria Beyond 1  has 9 vibration modes, 3 steady speeds going from a mild to quite powerful vibration especially for a none rechargeable toy and it also has 6 different pattern settings. To turn off the toy you use press and hold the button down for a few seconds, we have yet to accidentally turn the Beyond 1 off during use so the few seconds works well.

On other toys with patterns I have always found them too teasing to do anything for me but most of the patterns on this toy are very good! The vibrations are the rumbly kind which we prefer also. The Beyond 1 moderately quiet and could easily be used without being noticed by others unless they are in the same room as you..

Packaging

The Ophoria Beyond 1 comes in a good quality black box with a removable lid which reminds me of the Lelo brand of toys. It also has a card outer case for the box and the toy rests snugly in a plastic insert which comes out so you can get to the manuals, protective pouch and supplied batteries. The manual is informative and easy to understand.

Care and Cleaning

Being Silicone the Beyond 1 is extremely easy to take care of, to clean we have tended to use warm water and a antibacterial soap which does the job very well. We wouldn’t recommend  boiling this toy like other Silicone non vibrating toys to clean due to the mechanical aspect of the toy as it may damage it. To combat the lint we keep the Beyond 1 in the box it came with and it does the job quite well plus the box looks really nice too.

Experience

I have found it best to first use the Ophoria Beyond 1 on my clitoris to get me highly aroused and it does it very well, much better than most of our clitoral vibrators in-fact. I’ve needed to be very aroused before I insert this toy as the bulbous head is quite large and even when extremely horny I still find it slightly uncomfortable to insert and remove but once inserted it is fine.

The Beyond 1 finds my G-spot with ease and stimulates it very well, I’ve tended to use the highest steady vibration setting most of the time (setting 3) and it is a wonderful feeling. The toy has a tendency to turn a little which will make it not rest on my g-spot once inserted so we’ve had to turn it back to the proper position on quite a few occasions.

I’ve not actually orgasmed as yet with the toy inserted but have been extremely close (I’m a big clitoris stimulation fan) but do I like to finish off massaging my clitoris with the toy after a g-spot session which has led to very explosive orgasms. The first time we actually used this toy I actually squirted for the first time ever!

Overall Opinion

As you can imagine we now love the Ophoria Beyond 1 because it made me squirt, to date this the only toy to ever make me do this so you can imagine this toy is going to get used a lot. We do have a few issues with the toy however… We wish this ioy was rechargeable as the power and convenience of rechargeable toys are great and also the bulbous head is a little too big for us, but I guess if it was a bit smaller it may have not made me squirt so I guess that is the price you pay for mind blowing orgasms.
