Pure Skin Bendie Review

We recently received the 10-Function Pure Skin Bendie from California Exotics to test and review as part of their Sexpert program. This toy is true to its name as you can actually bend the shaft to create the perfect angle. Read below to find out how we got along with this sex toy.

This vibrator is very soft to the touch and you can slightly move the outer material around from its harder internal core. This softness is at its most on the head of the vibrator as there is no core making the head very flexible. This high flexibility of the head can cause issues with initial penetration however.

Along the shaft of this vibrator are a spider web of raised vein detailing. The veins are semi-realistic and not to overly exaggerated but there is a few more than most real penises we have seen.

What sets the Pure Skin Bendie apart from most other vibrators is the bendable feature. We are happy to say this vibrator bends very well to our chosen angles and most importantly keeps the angle even during vigorous sessions. This really surprised us as other bendable dildos/vibrators have failed to keep their shape.

The toy bends at one single point of the vibrator about half way up the shaft. This sex toy can be set at just about a 90 degree angle (looks like 3 o’clock) and can be bent downwards or upwards.

Out of the box it has quite a strong smell to it as like most realistic sex toys. This smell does dissipate after a few washes however. When received the vibrator is covered in a corn-flour type dusting which is to preserve the realistic feel.

Controlling the vibrations is very simple with two buttons at the base of the toy. One button turns the unit on and cycles through the various speeds and patterns whilst the other turns the unit off. The second button also turns the unit on to your previous vibration setting as the toy has a memory chip built-in.

The vibration modes are varied but we would have like to seen a couple of pulsations that gradually increase in strength (Rox tends to like these). There are 3 continuous vibrations settings each are above average for a battery operated vibrator. We would have liked a milder speed on the first setting for tease play however.

Once turned on the base of the toy glows in time with the vibrations. We like toys that have this feature as it’s a good for the male in couples to see what vibrations their partner are receiving.

The vibrations eminate from about 3 quarters up the shaft and transfer to the tip very well. The vibrations don’t make it very far down the shaft towards the control unit due to the bend we have found.

“I really like how I can bend the toy to my liking to help hit my g-spot. The thing I like more though is how it keeps its angle even when heavily thrusting as other bendable toys I’ve tried straighten out. Inserting the vibrator can be a little difficult at times as the head of the vibrator is too flexible due to no inner core. Once inserted though this vibrator feels really nice and filling.

The vibration modes on the toy are very good, I would have liked some gradual vibration modes but having 7 different patterns is still really good. I enjoy realistic feeling sex toys for obvious reasons and this sex toy is certainly realistic it’s just a shame about the porous trade-off you get.”

“I was really surprised how well the Pure Skin Bendie keeps its shape and also the angles possible. I agree with Rox about the flexible head of the vibrator as she can struggle with insertion at times with this sex toy. The glowing base of the vibrator tells me what Rox is experiencing vibration wise which I like. Also this flashing light is handy when playing in the dark as it shows you where the control panel is.

The tackyness of the vibrator after washing does put me off a little bit as it makes me feel the toy isn’t really clean”

We really like the Pure Skin Bendie and would definitely recommend it to others. It is a shame about how tacky the toy can get however. The thing we love the most about this toy is how well it keeps its angle. This variable angle can make hitting the g-spot easier for people who know where their g-spot is but struggle with other toys with set angles.
