Spareparts Joque Review

We have tried many harnesses in the past, so when we heard about the Joque by Spareparts we were very keen to give it a try. Imagine our excitement when we were given one to review!

Design / Shape / Size

On first look, the Joque certainly looks different to other harnesses on the market. It has two straps which you step into which rest under the buttocks, and they are connected to a wide strap that goes around the waist, which is adjustable with strong Velcro. There are a few clips which adjust the straps located on the buttock straps and the waist strap.

In between the waist belt and the buttock straps sits the O-ring for a dildo surrounded by soft material. The O-ring is stretchy to accommodate many sized dildos, and it has some material at the back so that when you have a dildo inserted you can cover the base of it or you can leave it uncovered for extra stimulation for the wearer.

To put a dildo into the harness you can either put one in with the harness on by threading the dildo through the back of the O-ring, or placing a dildo on a flat surface and stretching the O-ring to get it through. Both ways are just as easy depending on the dildo, with larger based dildos putting it in whilst wearing the harness may prove difficult however.

The Joque comes in six stunning colours, black, white, purple, red, blue and pink. It also comes in a small size and plus size which accommodate 20″ to 65″ waists. We are the proud owners of a purple Joque that looks absolutely stunning. The O-ring is the same size on the small and large size Joques and can stretch to fit many dildos.

Packaging

We did not receive the Spareparts Joque harness in it’s original packaging due to overseas shipping but what we did receive was a polyester drawstring bag which is really soft and allows you to keep the harness in tip-top condition and also the instructions. We love the bag and we always keep the Joque in the bag as it is so nice and keeps it clean.

Care And Cleaning

The Joque can get dirty very easily with lube after being used and definitely needs cleaning after every use, but it is so easy to clean putting as you can put the harness in the washing machine thanks to it’s material and it comes out very clean and ready to hang out on the washing line if you are feeling daring.

Experience

I found it very easy to get the Joque strapped onto me and adjusting it to fit me nicely was just as simple. It feels very supportive around the buttocks so I know it isn’t going to fall down. Once we found the right adjustments for a snug fit the first time we used the Joque all I need to do is climb in I tighten the back and it’s a perfect fit every time.

The biggest test for me was how the harness would perform in action. With other harnesses I find that I’m having to hold the dildo or harness for extra support, but with the Joque everything stays in place.

Pegging is one of my favourite things to do during sex, and I like it to feel realistic. With the Joque everything feels very comfortable and secure, which means I have a more realistic experience whilst pegging.

We have tried a few different positions with the Spareparts Joque, and it does not move! The harness always stayed connected to my body and I felt completely in control the whole time. Not only this it is extremely comfortable to wear and the straps do not dig it whatsoever unlike many other harnesses I have tried.

Overall Opinion

“I absolutely LOVE this harness! I love to feel like I have a penis and the Spareparts Joque makes me feel that way. This harness trumps all other harnesses we have tried by a mile. I doubt we will use our other harnesses as much now we have the Joque. I never like to use the word perfect when it comes to products as usually at least something could be improved but with the Joque I really don’t see how it could be improved.
