Spiral Chastity Device Review

Rox really enjoys putting me in chastity as it allows her to 100% control my sexual life. In the past we have used the CB-6000 but we have always thought there must be better devices out there that wouldn’t pinch and would be easier to sleep in so we was overjoyed when our friends ChastityPlay sent us the Spiral Chastity Device.

Design / Shape / Size

The Spiral comes in two parts, it has a fixed ring and also a cage both of which is made of stainless steel. The ring is completely solid with 2 holes on the top for the pins of the cage to slide into and a guide pole for securing the lock into. Being made of stainless steel the Spiral is quite heavy compared to other plastic and silicone chastity devices.

The Spiral feels very sturdy and doesn’t seem like it will break at any-time soon. The welding points around the device aren’t the cleanest we have seen and we felt these could cause pinching when wearing.

The lock is very standard and wouldn’t look amiss in our local DIY store as it looks like any other lock you can purchase. The lock it made of metal with no covering which surprised us as the chastity device is also metal the two could clang together making a noise whilst wearing. The lock has quite sharp edges which isn’t ideal as these edges could easily scratch the wearer so it probably is a good idea to purchase another lock with this device.

The device comes with 2 keys, one of which Rox always has on her and the other hidden somewhere around the house where I don’t know just in case I urgently need freedom and Rox isn’t around to unlock me. I have to give a very good reason before Rox would tell me where the extra key is though. Having the extra key is very useful because of this and is also useful if one gets lost.

The size of the Spiral seems a good fit length wise for me as I’m a grower and not a shower. I have used the standard CB-6000 chastity device before and the cage was just a bit too big but the Spiral has a shorter cage which is a definite plus.

Putting on

The first time I attempted to put the Spiral on I failed miserably as I have have quite a large scrotum and I struggled fitting through the ring even with a bit of lube. However persistence paid off and have now mastered putting the ring on and I am able to fit it within seconds.

As there are no spacers to this device like the CB range it is very easy to fit once mastered as it’s a ‘one size fits most’ chastity device. I really struggled getting the right combination with my CB-6000 so the simplistic fitting nature of the Spiral really is a plus.

Once the ring is fitted all that is needed to do now is slide the cage pins into the holes of the ring and attach the lock. This is quite simple to do but we found it is important to take our time guiding the pins into the holes as by rushing we could easily nip some sensitive skin area and be in quite a bit of pain but going slow we have managed to combat this.

When wearing the Spiral below clothes it is hardly noticeable especially when wearing jeans thanks to it’s small form factor and that the cage points downwards similar to a natural flaccid penis. Only when just wearing tight’ish boxers can you notice that something is out of the ordinary.

Comfort

Without a doubt the Spiral is the most comfortable chastity device we have tried so far, it hasn’t really caused any major discomfort and is very comfortable for the most part. It can pinch now and again but I think this would be the case with any chastity device. Doing daily activities are not an issue from doing household chores to doing my daily work out. It can be a bit difficult to do long runs as it can irritate me after a few miles but I would be very shocked if any chastity device could let me do my half marathon runs without getting in the way.

Sleeping has been quite easy with the Spiral with only the occasional wake up in the night due to discomfort thanks to night time erections but the pain is not unbearable like the CB-6000 has been. Getting into a comfortable position to sleep in needs experimentation but is workable.

When I’m wearing the Spiral I sometimes forgot I’m actually wearing it depending what I’m doing but the weight of the device is usually a reminder enough that I’m wearing it which is a plus as it’s good to have a content reminder that I’m at Rox’s will.

Escaping and Stimulation

I have yet to manage to escape from the Spiral after quite a few attempts (for review purposes of course as I wouldn’t escape without Rox’s permission). Thanks to the closeness of the ring to the cage there has been no way of possible pull outs.

Trying to get any stimulation to my penis whilst being in the Spiral has been unsuccessful thus far. The strong metal exterior of this male chastity device has been a great defence against any of my attempts to stimulate my penis (again I was told I was allowed to attempt to self-stimulate by Rox in aid for this review).

Care and Cleaning

Taking care of the Spiral is very easy due to its easy access to the penis through the metal bars. I always clean after a urinating and giving a proper clean when showering to make sure it’s totally clean. It’s so much easier to clean than the CB-6000 which is a huge benefit as we always hated how awkward the CB device was to clean. The only difficult area to clean we have found is on the cage below the penis as the ridges join causing area can allow dirt to get stuck and be a pain to clean, however regular showers or baths helps keep it sparkling.

Effects

The effects of me being in chastity with the Spiral have been very good, Rox loves the complete power it gives her over my sex life and plus she has said she gets more loving attention from me whilst in chastity due to my need for sexual freedom and release so she loves it.

Sex after being in chastity with the Spiral is quite an experience as I tend to be overly giving and tend to go at it like rabbits which tends to make me last a shorter time than I usually do but that is to be expected.

Overall Opinion

The Spiral has become by far our favourite chastity device, it’s comfortable, built to last and very easy to clean. Thanks to all this it has allowed us to explore long term chastity which was impossible previously due to irritation and very painful night-time erections.

There are a couple of issues we have with the Spiral but they are very minor ones like the chance of nicking sensitive areas when putting on the device due to the locking mechanism, the lock is noisy and can scratch you because of the sharp edges but a cheap purchase of a new lock easily remedies this. These issues do not make the Spiral a bad purchase however as this device is really very good and these extremely minor issues really doesn’t effect everyday use especially as we now have a new lock for the product.

The Spiral has allowed us to experience chastity how we always imagined it could be even if it has given Rox more power than she should really have!
