Sportsheets Beginner Bondage Kit Review

We like to delve into some bondage fun now and again and the Sportsheets Beginner Bondage Kit that we recently received from EdenFantasys was a prime candidate to help satisfy our bondage cravings.

Size / Strength / Feel

Included in the bondage kit are 4 ties for hands and legs each with 44″ long straps to trap your willing or unwilling victim up to whatever you like, we would have preferred a bit longer length as this length can limit what you can attach your unlucky victim to. Each cuff has very strong Velcro to secure the arms and legs to stop you from escaping even when using a lot of force, we have yet to manage to break free from our bound state by trying to rip open the Velcro by forcing it.

Steve in particular has slim wrists and some cuffs we have used in the past have failed to trap him securely which has taken away the feeling of him being unable to escape from my torture. Thankfully these cuffs seem to be able to accommodate most sized wrists and ankles from skinny to large and as yet he has been unable to slip out.

We was quite surprised there wasn’t Velcro on the tying end as well as you have to tie it yourself with a knot which is not ideal as it shortens the length of the straps. The plus side of not being Velcro is you are able to tie it very tight but it is still easy to untie after your fun due to the width of the straps (no awkward knots to untie).

The cuffs are very comfortable and soft, we haven’t experienced any chaffing from them and I could easily trap Steve for hours and he could be wriggling away throughout but I’d know the only pain he would receive is from my whips and paddles. Cant have him getting any undue pain from the cuffs now can we?.

The blindfold included is very nice, it covers the eyes of my victim very well and if he wants to be naughty and try and peak out from the edges his efforts will be in vain. We have been unable to see through the blindfold even in very a very bright room. Ideally I would be torturing Steve in a dark dungeon filled with sex toys with the only sounds to be heard are the moans for help from my previous victims. In this ideal situation room brightness stopping the blindfold doing it’s job wouldn’t be an issue but we live in a standard 3 bed semi so thankfully this blindfold works a treat.

We have noticed the sewing work on the cuffs and straps is a bit slap-dash and could lead to weaknesses/snapping when pulled tight over long periods of time and over many uses but for the price you pay for this kit we cannot say this would be a reason not to purchase it.

Packaging

The packaging is pretty standard for this type of product, it does the job of displaying what the product is and how it can be used quite well. We would have liked to have seen more ideas of how you could strap up your victim especially as it’s classed as a beginners set as most beginners wouldn’t know the possibilities of light BDSM kits like this one.

Experience

We have had lots of fun using the Sportsheets Beginners Bondage Fantasy Kit, I have used it to attach Steve to many things including chairs, tables, doors and much more and I’ve always known that at no point could he escape. I have yet to figure out a way to attach him to the sink or washing machine so he can do the household chores without him slacking but I’m sure I can think of something! We have been slightly limited of where our antics can lead us to due to the limited length of the straps though.

Overall Opinion

My evilness aside this is a great kit for people wanting to explore the world of bondage without spending a fortune. I’m sure I will find more and more places to attach my victim to and this kit will give us the chance to play out those fantasies with ease, security and most importantly comfort. It is a shame the straps aren’t a bit longer but that is only a minor issue to what is in-fact a very good product that will create lots of pain and pleasure moments in our sex lives.
